remember when we use to only blog in lists?

highlights from work this past week that needed to be written down:

1. stemming, blending, cooking and straining 1,500 pounds of concord grapes. and having one batch taste like liquid smoke.
2. learning the definition of grok.
3. apparently if you are Dominican, if you go on vacation you can still sleep with other people and it's totes okay.
4. the patriot. tequila. drinking outside of a bodega at 4:30 am because the bars are closed.
5. kara - "well, fuck me."
me - "oh em gee, have you ever seen heathers?"
kara - "were you thinking fuck me gently with a chainsaw!?! because i was too!"
me - "i was! we are twins!" (then we started to giggle and jump up and down. no joke)
6. not being able to work with kara because we just look at each other and start to laugh. and just blame it on being white girls.
7. "don't look at me! don't look at me."
8. "let's be angela and rayanne from my so called life for halloween." "okay! ohh who will be our jordon catalano?" "what about tim? he looks like a leaner. we need a good leaner."
9. wanting to work at ninja because not only do the waiters dress in $800 ninja outfits, but also because they have a dessert called the ninja star. then meeting one of the waiters and 2 cooks from ninja and being told we should come in and get the hook up.
10. having my first batch of new tea cakes (pumpkin spice cakes) sell out in less than 24 hours at the bakery.

tonight macgyver is going to teach me some valuable life lessons. i learned this after i could stop an acid leak with a chocolate bar.
