on saturday my boss sat me down for about 45 minutes and we had a talk about changing things. he wanted to do a renovation but now he wants to hold off and try to change the menu first. he wants more interactive menu items. tomorrow i need to have my new menu ideas and how to execute them. he is buying me the stuff to build my own still! my plan is i want to distill a dessert so it comes out to be a clear liquid. he is even buying me liquid nitrogen so i can go to the table, pour it over something and shatter it at the table. i'm nervous because i just have never done anything like this. but if i can do this and pull it off it could be amazing.
christmas was pretty great. saw my brothers and got some great stuff. including the the alinea cookbook! which is just badass.
