sarcasm doesn't translate.

i get to go back to nashville in about a month. i could pee my pants with excitement. and i found out that steph and stacy may very well be in town. this makes me....happy.

work is still work. apparently we are doing renovations sometime after the new year. so basically we are opening a new restaurant in our same location. let me tell you what...i am not prepared for that. for the most part while working here it hasn't been too busy. year sometimes we are slammed but i usually have enough time to recover my inventory of desserts. if we open a new place and start getting busy all the time than i don't know if i will be able to keep up with my work. ahh. whateves. i guess i will just have to see what happens.

it doesn't feel like the holidays right now. i don't know if it is the state of the economy or if it's the weather. it has yet to get cold here. (i know, i know it's texas, but last christmas it snowed!) or maybe it's because i'm not overwhelmed at work. who knows.

oh work...i pretty much hate everyone still. the token alcoholic keeps taking my bacardi gold that i use for my chocolate glaze. and my brandy for my ice cream smells like honey and not brandy. and my boss is an asshole. and his wife is a bitch. we were told weeks ago we were going to be closed christmas eve and christmas day. but no the bitch had to go and take reservations for christmas eve. did i mention that my brothers are only going to be in town for like 3 days. and this is the first christmas since '05 that we actually get to spend together. i'm just a little pissed. it's not enough that i still work 70+ hour weeks for little business but now i have to work the holidays.

i really hope God is just testing my patience and not punishing me for something.

i wish i didn't have to go to work tomorrow. oh well, i guess i have no choice.
