my menu came out today! we only had 5 covers tonight, but 3 people ordered dessert. and they ate everything on their plates. i couldn't stop smiling on my way home from work. it seems like i am heading in the right direction and that people actually like what i am making. i am stoked when more people start eating there so they can try what i make.

and i am teaching my first cooking class tomorrow. i am showing people how to make the baked lemon cardamom meringue. i am nervous that i am going to screw something up in front of everyone. hopefully all goes well.
